Police Department Entrance
The Hazzard County Sheriff's Department is located in the Town of Hazzard, inside the County Court House and County Office Building.
Overview[]
The Hazzard County Sheriff's Department is well known in other counties of Georgia for having a crooked law system. Federal Agents such as Buchanon have commented that while Rosco Coltrane had once been the best law officer in the state, he is no longer worth anything since he turned crooked. Some neighboring counties have had to work with Hazzard in the past and commented negatively about the Hazzard police force, particularly Chief Lacey, Sheriff Little, Sheriff Ragsdale, and Sheriff Loomis.
Layout[]
The Hazzard County Police Department is a set of offices in the County Court House and County Office.
The Police Department offices have their own entrance way separate from the Court House entrance and the County Building entrance.
The Hazzard County Sheriff's Department has two floors, and upper and lower floor.
Main Room[]
The main room is a mostly open area with a processing desk that has a holding cell behind it, two desks for the deputies, access to the stairwell to the lower floor, and two doors to the County Commissioner and Sheriff's offices.
Rosco explains that the holding cell on the upper floor hadn't been used in nearly 75 years and they used to put prisoners there before their hanging. However since then they had used it for storage space. Boss Hogg had the cell cleaned out during a quarantine. [1] After this the holding cell was regularly used to hold prisoners.
Sheriff's Office[]
The Sheriff's Office is on the upper floor, room 102, with a door to the main room. The office has it's own bathroom. Rosco had a number of pictures on the wall including a shelf of various trophies.
Police Commissioner's Office[]
The Police Department has it's own office for the Police Commissioner. The room is room number 101.
The Commissioner's room has it's own closet as well and is set up similar to the Sheriff's office. The room has wood paneling around the doors and instead of shelves there is a couch for guests.
File Room[]
The Sheriff's Department has a file room on the first floor. This room has filing cabinets along the wall with a table and chairs in the center.
Cletus Hogg had mentioned that while working in the Sheriff's department he files the majority of the cases that he has worked on as miscellaneous to save time. [2]
Gallery[]
On the Stairs to the lower floor is a blue needle point sign that reads 'All Hope Abandoned, Ye Who Enter Here'. Mama Coltrane made it for the prison. [3] At the bottom of the stairs is a gate that can be closed.
The Lower floor has two cells.

The Hazzard County Sheriff's Department has an impound yard that is located behind the building. [4] The majority of vehicles impounded while in town tend to be put in the Impound yard of the garage connected the rest of the building.
The impound yard in the garage is accessible from both inside the building and out. There is a garage door and a smaller door for individuals to go outside and a door that connects to the hall with the Sheriff's office from the inside. [5]
