Richard Douglas Hurst is an American Actor best known for his role of Cletus Hogg from the Dukes of Hazzard.
Life and Career[]
Richard Dougas Hurst, or better known as Rick Hurst, was born 1 January, 1946. He got a BA from Tulane University in 1968 and a Masters of Fine Arts from Temple University in 1970. His sons Ryan Hurst and Collin Hurst would both go on to become actors as well.
Rick Hurst appeared in numerous shows, including but not limited to M*A*S*H, The Karate Kid series, Murder She Wrote, Family Matters, and The Return of the Killer Shrews. Hurst also starrted in the 1983 show Amanda's as Earl Nash for 13 episodes.
Today he still makes many apperances to the Cooter's Place and other events as Deputy Cletus Hogg.
