Rosco Purvis Coltrane is the Sheriff of Hazzard County. He is portrayed by Harland Williams in the 2007 movie The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning.

Rosco Purvis Coltrane is the brother of Lulu Coltrane Hogg (Sherilyn Fenn), the wife of Boss Hogg (Chris McDonald). He owns a Smith & Wesson Model 686 revolver and takes his pet dog Flash with him wherever he goes.
