Stationed in Cedar City, he gets a phone call from Rosco to come to Hazzard to pick up Bo and Luke Duke to transport them to a federal prison. He arrives in Hazzard to see three men, Bo, Luke, and Jeb; running and yells at them to hold it. All three freeze and he approaches them before saying he would be obliged if they can point him to the sheriff’s office. All three point in different directions before Luke says it’s been a while and Bo says they haven’t seen him. He watches the three run to a jeep and drive away before going into the court house.
