Toby sings ‘Play by the Rules’ for the Hazzard Hoe-Down. When he finishes the song, Rosco climbs up on the stage and greets him. He nods and moves aside to let him speak. Rosco says that he comes back every year and he is a big country music star now. He listens in surprise as a man named Ezra Bushmaster comes up on the stage, challenging the community to raise 500 thousand in ten days saying he will donate the remaining three million. Toby looks to Rosco in confusion. He is even more confused when a man named B.B. Bascomb comes up to say that he can get them the money by the community selling their recordings of country music singers to him. Toby announces that if B.B. sells the tapes and they get the money, he will bring all the country singers who played before back for a ground breaking hoe-down.

Toby returns for the Ground Breaking where he plays 'How do you like me now'. When he finishes he announces Anita Blackwell and when she asks him to stay and 'jam' with her he agrees. He plays the guitar for her song.
