The United States of America (shortly referred to as the United States, the U.S., the USA, or America) is a federal constitutional republic comprising fifty states and a federal district. The United States are situated mostly in central North America, where its forty-eight contiguous states and Washington, D.C., the capital district, are situated. The state of Alaska lies in the northwest of the continent, separated from the other states by Canada, and the state of Hawaii is an archipelago in the mid-Pacific.

Georgia, a state at the east coast of the United States, is the location where the fictional Hazzard County, the main location of the Dukes of Hazzard TV series and movies, is set.
The movie The Dukes of Hazzard: Hazzard in Hollywood!, however, is set in Hollywood, a neighborhood of Los Angeles in the state of California at the west coast of the United States.
